Abstract
Going over the difference between pedagogy and education is proposed in this text. Benner’s proposal about education as praxis is taken for this purpose. Then, a conception of pedagogy as reflection of this praxis that has its origin in the emergence of open societies in which the practical circle of action and custom is broken, is proposed.
