Abstract

In this article, the focus is on the ontology of the Tractatus because despite being one of the themes abandoned after 1930, it has two aspects that should be highlighted in a special way: its relational character, and his affirmation of the contingency of the world. Both aspects are of interest in themselves due to their unprecedented nature, but it is also possible to establish suggestive relationship between them and some contemporary positions, both in the natural sciences and in the social sciences. A recently published book by Friedrich Hülster, “Introduction to Wittgenstein´s Tractatus Logico-Philosophicus” will be the reference in the first case. “Radical Uncertainty”, a book published last year by John Kay and Marvin King will be the reference for the second case.
